The Conundrum Is Over

I just briefly wanted to let everyone know that I have decided to go to Boston, despite the lack of funding from the College and not reaching the campaign goal on this site. In the end, it just seemed worth the extra hardship this month to go, for so many reasons. I'll be leaving on the 13th and will spend most of Friday and Saturday there, talking to various folks from MIT and Wyona, the consulting company whose many members are official developers of Lenya.
I have to say thanks to those that have generously donated funds to the trip. I feel blessed and honored that people were willing to set aside money they worked hard for to help someone else fulfill a small part of their dream. I am forever in your debt.
I'll leave the campaign information up on the site should you still feel so inclined to support my trip. I'll be borrowing a camera from someplace and will post photos as well as a summary of the meetings we'll have. I'm really excited to be going (it's my first time in Boston since I was in third grade!) and I look forward to meeting with those I have been conversing with for nearly a year now through email, mailing lists, and IM. More updates soon.
